Roman Yaremko shared a bit about his Rotary Club in the Ukraine.  Roman shared heartbreaking pictures (see below) and what his Rotary Club has completed and currently has in progress.

We could only devote a small amount of time to Roman's initial presentation, but we will try to get him back to highlight our shared values.  This may be the beginning of something great between our two clubs.

From Roman Yaremko.

I’m pleased to share that I recently introduced Rotary Club Lviv International (Ukraine) to the Rotary Club of The Woodlands (Texas).

I’m thrilled to share that I recently introduced the Rotary Club Lviv International in Ukraine to the Rotary Club of The Woodlands in Texas — two vibrant clubs united by our shared values of service, fellowship and global impact.

Lviv Rotary International is a dynamic, Ukrainian/English-speaking club that has become a vital force for humanitarian support, resilience projects, and international cooperation — especially during the ongoing challenges in Ukraine.

Also, the Lviv club, serving one of Ukraine’s largest cities, is deeply engaged in humanitarian efforts and community resilience through challenging times.
Meanwhile, the Woodlands club brings decades of strong community service across Montgomery County, with deep local roots and a forward-looking global mission.

By connecting these two clubs, we’re fostering international dialogue, sharing best practices in service-leadership, and opening the door for meaningful cross-border collaboration.

By connecting these two clubs, we are strengthening Rotary’s mission across borders:
🇺🇦 Supporting communities in need
🇺🇸 Sharing leadership and service experience
🤝 Exploring joint humanitarian and cultural initiatives

I’m honored to play a small part in building this bridge between Ukraine and the U.S., and I look forward to seeing where this collaboration leads.

Proud to help build bridges across continents through Rotary.
