Join Us At Our Next Rotary Lunch Meeting.

Dear  ,

We look forward to seeing you at our Thursday Lunch Meeting.

Guest Speaker: Wayne Beaumier

Topic: Disaster Aid International

Disaster Aid USA (disasteraidusa.org) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a Rotary project established in 2010 that provides immediate humanitarian relief for domestic and international disasters.  Unlike FEMA, which is a federal government agency, Disaster Aid USA is an independent NGO that relies on donations and volunteers to distribute essential supplies, such as Family Survival Packs meeting UN and Sphere standards, to communities affected by events like hurricanes, floods, and wildfires.

The organization focuses on immediate response rather than first-response emergency services, deploying teams to provide shelter, clean water, and other critical aid.  They maintain an active presence in regions impacted by recent crises, including Hurricane Helene, Kentucky Flooding, and the Central Texas Flash Flood, and they actively recruit volunteers and accept tax-deductible donations to support their operations.
