Join Us At Our Next Rotary Lunch Meeting.

Dear  ,

We look forward to seeing you at our Thursday Lunch Meeting.

Guest Speaker: Melissa Jurik, Vice President of Development, Inspiration Ranch

Topic: Inspiration Ranch - where hope, renewal, and inspiration come alive.

Hope lives in Inspiration Ranch through the transformative power of our programs, the dedication of staff and volunteers, and the unique bond between our clients and horses. Our renowned programs empower children, youth, and adults to overcome physical, emotional, and social challenges, instilling a renewed sense of possibility in each participant. Each week, over 100 special needs children and youth participate in our therapeutic riding program, which enhances their core strength, improves mobility, and fosters better communication. Our Mental Health Program supports individuals who have endured severe emotional trauma, helping them establish new boundaries, develop skills, and conquer obstacles.

Within our 40-acre sanctuary, clients engage with horses to facilitate their therapeutic journey. These non-judgmental and intuitive animals quickly interpret body language and nonverbal cues, encouraging meaningful interactions and personal growth. Our highly trained horses, working in tandem with our compassionate staff and dedicated volunteers, create a unique environment for renewal and healing.

At Inspiration Ranch, we are dedicated to breaking down stigmas and barriers, promoting inclusion, and celebrating everyone’s achievements. We deliver exceptional equine-assisted therapy and activities within a loving Christian environment, inspiring our clients to reach new heights every day. The synergy between our staff, volunteers, and horses fosters an atmosphere where hope, renewal, and inspiration thrive.

NOTABLE MENTIONS:

This month we're launching Thankful Third Thursdays!  Meet up with other Rotarians and guests each Third Thursday at 11:00 - 11:45. Arrive early to The Woodlands Country Club, get great parking space and a seat at the back table! On the way to the back table, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy some informal time with fellow Rotarians.

We are not only meeting socially, but we're collecting items for kids who didn't have breakfast at home.  Single Serving Breakfasts and Healthy Breakfast Bars (Kind) are most needed.  The counselors or teachers can keep these items in their pockets and slip them to the children easily to avoid embarrassment.

The collection bins will be at the entry!  Let's get breakfast bars and protein snacks for the kids at Hailey Elementary.  Here are some examples.

Speaking of Food:

Over these next few weeks we have an opportunity to volunteer at the Montgomery County Food Bank.  If you are a returning volunteer you can sign in, otherwise you need to set up an account.  Friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, all are encouraged to sign up!  We'll be in the cooler, so you'll escape the heat.

Wednesday, July 22, 2026 is our next MONTHLY Wednesday Volunteer Time for Montgomery County Food Bank 9am - 12pm.  Here's the link to set up an account and sign up!  There are still many openings!   Join the fun - volunteers do not have to be with the Rotary Club!  Sign Up Here

If that doesn't work with your schedule RAH is also hosting an event at the Montgomery County Food Bank on Saturday, August 1, 2026 9am - 12pm.  Sign Up Here:
