Aaron Cox, IOM is President & CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce
Aaron Cox serves as the President & CEO of the Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, where he leads day to day operations and services to its approximately 1,300 members.
Prior to joining the Chamber team, Cox served as the Executive Director of the Texas Chapter of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) and immediately before that as the Executive Director Central-South Texas with the American Cancer Society where he led a team focused on fundraising and development for the Society.
The majority of Cox’s career has been working in and serving chambers of commerce. Cox has served as the Senior VP for the Texas Association of Business (TAB) and the executive director for the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) and worked for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce in a similar role. Before that he served as an associate executive director for two not-for profits where he led initiatives in workforce development, transportation, independent childcare and several youth programs. In these roles he also worked with legislators at the state and federal levels on numerous policy and funding initiatives.
